Create brand-consistent, compelling, accurate marketing and communications collateral (training materials, presentation decks, brochures, white papers, promo mailers, invitations, displays, stationery, design templates, etc.); consult with users to identify graphic needs; provide creative direction; generate visual ideas and concepts; prepare rough and comprehensive layouts optimized for desired delivery to market; manage efficient digital approval workflows.
Establish deadlines; ensure jobs are completed on time; track time for project billing.
Write/edit marketing verbiage for short and long form purposes.
Assist in creation and distribution of press releases; as needed, serve as a media follow-up point of contact for additional content and input.
Contribute to social media content (paid and owned) for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn accounts; oversee social listening efforts and engage in social conversations.
Create and optimize paid search and paid social campaigns.
Create and deliver blast emails to clients, prospects, etc.; track performance metrics, optimizing content and lists for improved conversions and governmental compliance.
Communicate directly with outside and internal vendors; track costs and deliveries.
Manage creative libraries and oversee version controls; optimize digital file versions for various purposes and channels.
Stay current with new digital content, social media and SEO trends and technologies.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 3 years of relevant full-time experience.
Associate degree or equivalent plus 5 years of experience.
7 years of experience.
Current design/writing portfolio outlining individual role required.
Ability to work in a collaborative setting with a broad variety of internal campus clients and external community clients.
Excellent organization and time management; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Reliable performer and strong communicator.
Proven knowledge of brand communication and digital marketing.
Marketing copywriting experience spanning both business (B2B) and consumer (B2C) markets.
Demonstrated copywriting for editorial submissions, blogs, advertising, literature, case studies, white papers, website and social media.
Positive established relationship with St. Louis print and broadcast media and proven experience securing earned media in St. Louis market.
Interviewing and writing skills that unearth compelling stories, more fully bringing a subject’s meaning to light and that, ultimately, motivates action in the reader.
