Content Management 1) Oversees and manages any outstanding web migration projects, porting appropriate content from decommissioned sites to the Harris site while ensuring information is organized on the Harris site in a manner consistent with guidelines and brand standards. 2) Collaboratively works with internal clients on landing page and microsite planning and creation, including sitemap creation, information architecture, and build-out.Â 3) Works closely with the Associate Director of Digital Marketing and UX Design and the Assistant Director of Communications to develop website content strategy and editorial calendar, surfacing content across the Harris site in a timely fashion. 4) Works with the Associate Director of Digital Marketing and UX Design and internal clients to develop web strategy and messaging, and identify content creation opportunities in support of degrees, programs, initiatives, etc. 5) Works closely with the Associate Director of Digital Marketing and UX Design and members of other Harris units to develop email strategy, templates, and drip campaigns.Â 6) Conducts regular reviews of existing website content and coordinates with units to ensure content is up-to-date, timely, and optimized for search.Â 7) Edits, proofreads, and suggests improvements to written web and email content developed by internal clients. 8) Manages digital screens in the Keller Center, including developing templates and content, and ensuring timely content management. 9) Creates and organizes digital assets, including website, email, and social media graphics; photography; infographics; etc.
Email & Web Analytics & Reporting 1) In partnership with Associate Director of Digital Marketing and UX Design, monitors web analytics to optimize site user experience and drive traffic, engagement, and conversions; using Google Analytics, determines, tracks, analyzes, and reports on key website metrics, making content and information architecture recommendations based on findings. 2) Develops reports on email metrics for campaigns as needed. 3) Partners with members of marketing team and external vendors on SEO and paid search.
Project Management, Governance & Client Support 1) In collaboration with Harris IT, works in a customer relationship management capacity to understand internal client needs for email and web content development and updates; improve user experience; and resolve problems, requests, and questions.Â 2) Collaborates with IT on managing email and website analytics and communicating School-wide and internal client concerns that might require technical or development support.Â 3) Develops, promotes, and executes regular staff training to ensure broad awareness of email and website governance structure and email and web content strategy best practices.Â 4) Creates and maintains guidelines and documentation for Harris email and website and with IT provides ongoing support to content authors across the School. 5) Ensures Harris email, website, and digital assets comply with copyright and privacy regulations.
General 1) Identifies areas and projects to add value to the daily activities of the Harris Marketing team. 2) Assists with special projects as they arise. 3) Tracks, reports, and follows up on open issues. Drafts related communications as appropriate.Â 4) Performs other related duties as assigned.

8) Experience with Drupal. 8)Â Familiarity with email marketing automation tools; experience with HubSpot preferred. 9) Working knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, and HTML / CSS beneficial. 10) Ability to multitask, take initiative, work independently, and contribute as a member of a team. 11) Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. 12) Foundational graphic design skills and proficiency using design software. 13) Experience in creating and executing training as well as communicating policies and procedures. 14)Â Graphic design skills and familiarity with graphic design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. 15)Â Familiarity with higher education environment and knowledge of the University of Chicago's unique culture and administrative systems beneficial.
