Position Summary The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the College of Physicians and Surgeons' three-part mission, consisting of its clinical enterprise, ColumbiaDoctors, as well as its robust research and educational functions. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will collaborator on and support all digital marketing activities, including but not limited to, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), paid social, display advertising, content creation, and campaign analytics. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Communications and Web Services teams, as well as institutional stakeholders. The incumbent will work closely with ColumbiaDoctors administration as well as various units across the institution. Responsibilities - Assist the digital team with planning, implementing, and managing SEM, YouTube, Google Display, Paid Social and other digital marketing campaigns and activities.
- Work with Communications, Marketing and Web Services teams to develop and execute user acquisition campaigns.
- Analyze clicks and conversion data in order to provide insights and actions; produce regular campaign reports providing strategic recommendations and optimizations.
- Review and optimization bid management of campaigns, ads, and keywords.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to implement strategy and track metrics in order to drive brand awareness and conversions.
- Create/edit or curate posts, photos, videos, and other media; work closely with communications staff, as well as clinical department leadership to identify stories and source content.
- Curate content about various clinical services across the clinical enterprise in an effort to engage patients and support strategic priorities such as promoting key services or locations.
- Provide oversight, management, and optimization of Google My Business and Yext listing.
- Develop, own, and maintain a regular editorial/content calendar.
- Assist with meeting schedules and day-to-day activities.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications - Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus a minimum of two years of related experience in a role with significant digital campaign or social media management responsibilities, preferably in healthcare or higher education
- Experience in search engine optimization, search engine marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns
- Experience with Google Ads, Bings Ads, Google Display Network, programmatic display and paid social
- Experience with social media, as a web content creator, or other digital communications role, with demonstrated writing experience
- Thorough understanding of the digital media landscape and the ability to envision and predict future digital/social media trends
- Operational fluency with online/social media sites such as: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, SnapChat
- Google Ads certified or working towards certification preferred
- Ability to create and manipulate images using Photoshop, Illustrator

- Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, SEMRush and other digital marketing tools and reporting platforms
- Strong work ethic with a dedication to excellence
- Strong understanding of the relationship between organic and paid search
- Solution oriented with the ability to anticipate needs for the team and organization
