MARKETING ASSISTANT II, ANNUAL FUND , Alumni Association , to perform--under minimal supervision--diverse project and administrative tasks for the MIT Annual Fund. Will provide advanced administrative support for multiple programs and projects; and work closely with the staff members dedicated to digital marketing and direct mail for the Annual Fund, including campus-wide annual giving initiatives.
REQUIRED : a high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years of communication and/or administrative experience, preferably in nonprofit or higher education organizations; excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, administrative, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills; a commitment to customer service; flexibility; strict attention to detail; strong computer skills, including Excel experience; and an aptitude for numbers and analysis. Must be able to coordinate multifaceted tasks and juggle multiple projects simultaneously; function both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a talented team; and work under tight deadlines and pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of print production and bidding is desirable. Knowledge of desktop publishing (specifically Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Silverpop Engage or a comparable email platform (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.) preferred. A bachelor's degree and strong writing and proofing skills are also preferred. Job #17470-5
