Subiaco Academy, a Catholic, Benedictine, college-preparatory day and boarding school for boys in grades 7-12 is seeking applications for a full-time Director of Marketing and Enrollment Management. Subiaco Academy, founded in 1887 by Benedictine Monks, sits on the grounds of Subiaco Abbey in the Arkansas River Valley at the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains in Logan County, Arkansas.
The applicant should be highly skilled in developing appropriate marketing and public relations material, including both print and digital publications that message the academy. The successful candidate will prepare and deliver an innovative social media plan and help monitor and update the website. He/she will be a dynamic leader who is able to articulate the mission and values of the school and embrace the Benedictine heritage of the academy. The director must possess superior communication skills, both written and verbal, and the capability to work well with students, parents, and all constituents in the school community. The ideal applicant is a practicing Catholic who has the qualities of integrity, responsibility, organization, and collaboration in addition to outstanding skills in marketing and enrollment management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
oversight and administration of the academy’s brand identity
management of the marketing and enrollment budgets
connecting with media outlets and publications for promotional opportunities
creating strategic recruiting objectives in order to attract prospective students
formulation of forward-thinking initiatives and innovative tactics in admissions
develop and achieve yearly goals and objectives for enrollment and marketing
execution of all domestic and international admissions events (travel is expected)
research and implement a best-in-class shadow day program for prospects and families
collecting and monitoring key data points to drive decision making
collaboration with other departments to ensure cohesive messaging in the recruitment, enrollment, and retention of students as well as advancement services
BA/BS degree is required. MA/MBA degree and experience in marketing/enrollment management is preferred.
