The Department of Marketing at St. Cloud State University has one fixed-term position available to teach new product development, sales management and other marketing courses as needed. This is a full time, 2 semester position.
Teach undergraduate marketing courses and contribute to achievement of department goals which include:
Providing an effective learning environment for students,
Contributing to college curriculum and program development and enhancement,
Contributing to student growth and development such as student advising,
Continuing development of professional knowledge and skills in marketing,
Performing service to the department, college, university, and our various publics, such as committee assignments and/or community service,
Assisting the college in maintaining AACSB International accreditation.
1. M.B.A. or other related Master's degree from a nationally or regionally accredited school of business completed in a campus-based classroom program with substantial marketing course work.
2. Marketing related experience in business or non-profit organizations.
3. Willingness to teach and work effectively with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds, including students, departmental colleagues and others in the university and business community as demonstrated by past experience or collaborative projects.
1. Demonstrated teaching proficiency in professional and/or academic settings.
2. Willingness to contribute to student growth and development.
