As a critical role in NYU's University Development and Alumni Relations' marketing and communications, the primary function will be to generate and deploy innovative communications that drive engagement among alumni and donors with NYU through Marketo and Cvent. This role will be responsible for key aspects of our eMarketing strategy including Marketing Automation, Email Marketing, and Event Registration. A successful candidate will work closely with other members of the IT and marketing teams and communicate progress and challenges to management. Candidate should have a strong history of marketing automation and demonstrate success in marketing conversion strategies. You will provide day-to-day marketing automation development and execution; including nurture programs, automated email communications, web forms, event programs, and ad hoc requests. In this role you will execute development, alignment, and implementation of lead scoring, nurturing and management. As a data scientist, you will be accountable for monitoring marketing automation success, working with Alumni Relations Communications to track and report metrics and providing guidance to further improve results as well as quarterly and annual insights and trends tracking. You will also support our other channels, like our website and social media.
Required Education: • Bachelor's degree
Required Experience: • Have minimum 3 years' experience • Proficient in Marketing Automation
Preferred Experience: • Know Marketo inside and out • Have knowledge of CRM and databases
