Minimum Hiring Salary / Position Classification: $35,000/Annual, Full-Time, Benefited, Exempt

The University of North Dakota is seeking applicants for an Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing. This is a full-time, benefitted position that supports UND Athletics marketing initiatives through coordination and implementation of marketing and sales strategies, reporting to the Senior Asst. AD for Marketing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage all aspects of NoDak Nation, the student support group for North Dakota Athletics.
Marketing contact for football, women’s basketball, and softball
Manage student ticket office administration
Manage student-athlete community service and donation program
Assist in Management of new fighting hawks mascot
Assist in Athletic Department game day experience committee efforts
Other duties as assigned.
Must have an effective professional working relationship with student-athletes, staff, administration, alumni and general public.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have strong organizational skills
Must have a commitment to NCAA compliance and follow all NCAA, conference and UND rules and regulations.
Must provide support and encouragement and ensure the safety and well-being of the student athletes were applicable.
Bachelor’s Degree, Marketing, Sports Business or related field
Experience producing and executing promotional game day events
Held a position for two years as a part-time, graduate assistant or intern in athletic marketing
Valid Driver's License
Successfully complete a criminal history background check.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
Professional or NCAA D1 experience with any of or all of these to include: football, football tailgating, basketball, and softball
Experience with student support groups
Experience with all or any of the following: Microsoft Office Suite, Game Ops Commander, and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience hiring, training, managing, and scheduling staff
