Posting Summary: The Advancement Operations team at the University of Virginia is looking for a motivated tech-savvy project manager to help us implement multiple new software platforms and roll them out to staff and volunteers during the next two years. Success will depend on an organized and efficient partnership between technical staff, IT providers, vendors, and UVA stakeholders. Your role will be to help us plan, execute, communicate, clear roadblocks, and successfully launch these engagement and communications systems on time and on budget.
Familiarity with marketing automation, online donation, and event registration software is required. Support and training that leads to wide adoption of platforms by UVA stakeholders is a necessity. We seek a self-starter; a leader familiar with Agile methodologies, cross-functional teams, and project management software who can maximize the power of collaboration and phased implementations across multiple software products. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required as are over 3 years of professional experience with project management software and successful project implementations. Excellent ability to work independently or as part of a team with a strong attention to detail. The IT Project Manager and Marketing Automation Specialist will be able to clearly articulate specific information. The preferred candidate be comfortable delivering presentations, skilled at consensus building and group facilitation. The preferred candidate will have a proven track record with project management software such as Wrike, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet or similar; Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with cloud-based communication, donation, and event registration software.

Required Minimum Level of Education: *Degree or Equivalent Experience Required
Required Specific Degree/Training: Degree (Information Science, computer science, or related area), or 3 years experience in a related field
Required Minimum Level of Experience: Some - up to 4 years
Required Specific Experience: Three years experience with project management software and successful project implementations
Preferred Minimum Level of Experience: Considerable - 4 to 7 years
Preferred Specific Experience: 5 or more years in IT project management with specialized knowledge in marketing automation software.
Preferred License or Certification: Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant or related, PMP, CSM, or similar.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven track record meeting deadlines and handling swiftly changing priorities
