We are currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Business Analyst for a challenging assignment in our Dallas office. Ideal candidate will be key for turning raw data from both internal and external sources into workable sales information, developing detailed data-based business analysis and translating results into tools, reports, and action plan recommendations.
Develop detailed analysis and subsequently translate results into business implication
Track key performance indicators to inform and evaluate trends related to specific brands, chains, and/or territories
Partner with sales team to develop effective selling tools and presentations
Organize analytical results into presentable formats for the sales team
Report business data related to increasing overall sales productivity
Provide consultative support to the sales team
Evaluate results across a variety of disciplines, including sales, marketing, finance, and legal
One to five years of experience in a data centered support function
Experience working with large data sets
Strong computer skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are essential. Must have ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology
Proven record of problem solving through data application
Experience in developing effective business presentations
Critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail. Must have a passion for accuracy
Effective, strong, positive communication skills.
Ability to build client relationships and work cross functionally
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Good organizational and time management skills
Strong customer service orientation
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Accounting, Statistics
