Dartmouth College seeks an experienced Senior Managing Director of Direct Marketing to serve as an operational partner to the Executive Director of the Dartmouth College Fund in annually raising the maximum current-use dollars and increasing alumni participation through fundraising efforts. This Senior Managing Director will provide leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of an integrated operations plan for marketing, stewardship, and information management systems. This fundraising effort is responsible for raising over $23 million annually from over 18,000 alumni (representing approximately 72% of our annual fund donors).
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of experience in higher education fund raising administration and experience in developing annual giving, marketing or communications strategies. Strategic thinking capabilities, a high level of creativity, strong knowledge of information systems, and business analysis of complex information systems, market intelligence/market research and analytic experience, experience with digital marketing and social media, and broad knowledge of the relative value of all communications channels are highly valued.
