Digital Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for hands-on execution of integrated digital marketing and communications strategies to support organizational, internal and external communications goals and objectives in the Virginia Tech College of Engineering. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the manager will work in a dynamic environment, and articulate and support Virginia Tech's master brand through its digital platforms that include web, online magazine, online marketing, and social media platforms. This position is responsible for creation, coordination, and implementation of digital communications, strategy, analytics, and developing marketing campaigns. This position collaborates with colleagues in the college's advancement team, college departments and university relations to elevate and promote advancement and college priorities, the brand, student learning, faculty expertise, industry partnerships, and more.
- Significant experience in developing and managing digital strategies and programs for complex organizations with multiple audiences. - Strong social media background such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram platforms. - Strong Photography and Videography skills. - Higher education experience.
