Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for the proactive recruitment of NACD full board and director memberships and managing all relevant membership development processes including; researching and expanding upon new and existing prospect leads, organizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, building and managing multi-layered recruitment campaigns, and working closely with other departments to expand membership.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
·         Organize, develop, and manage a Prospect Database, working in successful collaboration with other departments
·         Manage multi-layered recruitment campaigns built around segments; i.e. boards of Fortune 1000 companies, Audit Chairs, Chairman/CEOs, etc.
·         Research, identify, and effectively communicate with prospective members (phone, letters, emails)
·         Follow-up with all leads in a timely manner in support of relationship building objectives with boards and directors
·         Maintain and manage an accurate record of all recruiting activities
·         Work with Marketing department to keep NACD Recruitment collateral relevant
·         Be the first point of contact for inquiries coming through join@nacdonline.org and phone calls regarding joining the organization
·         Formulate accurate projections for new membership regularly and consistently meet those goals
·         Develop and manage reports on membership statistics on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
 
Essential skills and experience:
·         Proven closer with ability to make and exceed sales goals
·         Demonstrate proactive accountability for responsibilities
·         Proven professional and confident communicator in-person and over the phone, with effective consultative ability
·         Experience with collaboration between multiple departments
·         Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize key projects/campaigns
·         Strong team player
·         Ability to think out-of-the-box for creative problem solving
·         Exemplary interpersonal skills
·         Excellent written communication skills
·         Experience with CRM databases – iMis, BoardEx, and Crystal Reports a plus

Additional Salary Information: Salary based on experience, plus bonus, 401K, profit sharing, and excellent benefits.


Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
·         2 to 3 years sales or recruiting experience with a proven track record of success
·         Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
·         Skilled in working with Microsoft Office programs
