Job Description
The primary focus of the Marketing Associate is to successfully coordinate the conception, creation, development, production, execution and review of magazine gift and renewal promotions. Ensure that all deadlines are met in a timely, accurate manner. Facilitate comprehensive, diplomatic communication to ensure that both internal and external sources are kept abreast of new information, as well as, revisions. Additional responsibilities include: -Participate in test strategy development -Communicate with creative agencies (i.e. project initiation, expectations, revisions) -Route comprehensives to senior management for approval -Edit and design marketing copy -Proof read marketing copy -Approve pre-press proofs -Create Promotion Plan and related campaign communications -Develop and maintain production schedule -Request budget quotes -Order and track inventory (i.e. Lawson) -Project cost management

NOTES: Local Residents Preferred (No Relo)


Requirements
Bachelors’ Degree in marketing or related concentration and two or more years experience in marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be analytically orientated. Excellent PC skills are required, including experience with Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience with Access is a plus. Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and possess the ability to handle simultaneous tasks that change in priority from day-to-day
